Templates cover graphical abstracts, multi-panel data figures, and schematic diagrams. Each template includes the correct column width, font family, font size, and minimum line weight for its target journal — so your output is print-ready without manual specification.
Journal presets included
Nature Portfolio — Single-column (88 mm) and double-column (180 mm) layouts. Helvetica Neue, 7 pt minimum axis labels, 300 DPI TIFF export.
Cell Press — Graphical abstract at 1200 × 1200 px with pre-set text zones, figure panels at 85 mm single-column or 170 mm full-width.
Science / AAAS — Two-column grid, 8.7 cm single panel, sans-serif typography, line weights and symbol sizes within AAAS spec.
eLife — Open-access format with figure supplements, 1200-px width panels, accessible color palettes.
PNAS — Two-column 17.8 cm full width, 8.7 cm single column, Arial or Helvetica, 6–8 pt labels.

Community library
The Guild Library is a community repository where researchers share templates from their own published figures. Each template is attributed to its original author and publication. Browse by figure type, journal, or research domain.
Why journal-specific templates matter
A figure submitted to Nature at the wrong column width will be rejected at the production stage — even if the science is correct. Each journal has specific requirements for figure dimensions, line weight minimums, font sizes, and color mode. FigureGuild templates encode these requirements so you never have to read the author guidelines yourself.
Every figure exported from a FigureGuild template includes the correct DPI (300 for most journals, 600 for halftone images), the correct color profile (RGB for online-first submission, CMYK-compatible palettes for print), and the correct file format — PNG, TIFF, EPS, or PDF depending on the journal's requirements.
